Gender Issues Rant
One thing that I don’t understand about gender stereotypes and issues is how a man is looked down upon if he is not scruffy, full of muscles, and has the attitude of a bad boy. People don’t view a man, as a man if he is not dirty, doesn’t like to work out, and has compassion. For some reason men are not allowed to be seen crying, and they can not listen to any music that has a woman singer. If men are seen doing these things, people automatically assume he’s gay.
It is very frustrating. At my children’s school there is a Flamenco program. I’d say close to 95% female. Where are the boys? Worried about being called a pansy.
